Codega, a two-floor apartment, was named after a person who was closely linked to the city of Venice, its history and peculiar architecture. In the past, at sunset, Venice would sink into the most profound darkness and the “Còdega”, the man who held the lanterns, or candles, would light up the streets and accompany nobles and travelers to make sure they wouldn't get lost, attacked or robbed.
